Our Cabinet Process
For Austin and Central Texas cabinet projects, we confirm the scope and selections before fabrication so you can understand each stage of the work. As a small, owner-operated shop, we coordinate drawings, production, installation and finishing with direct involvement from start to finish.

Details, timelines, and expectations are reviewed and confirmed before moving forward.

After drawings, materials and scope are approved, we fabricate the cabinetry and complete shop sanding and preparation. Our standard custom-cabinet workflow completes installation and field fitting before the final paint, stain or clear finish. Prefinishing is an exception when project conditions genuinely require or justify it.

We deliver, install and fully field-fit the cabinetry, completing cabinet joining, scribes, fillers, panels, toe kicks, moldings and adjustments. We then protect and contain the work area, complete final preparation, and apply the approved paint, stain or clear finish. Masking, floor and travel-path protection, dust control, ventilation and cleanup are planned for the space. This intentional sequence applies to new construction, occupied homes and furnished homes; occupancy alone does not change the process.

After the finish has cured as required for the selected system, we complete hardware installation and reassembly, final adjustments, touch-ups and cleanup. We then review the cabinetry with you against the approved scope and drawings, including door and drawer operation and any remaining items.
