EZ Click Through Dakota Hardwoods
ATX offers EZ Click ready-to-assemble cabinetry through Dakota Hardwoods. EZ Click is the only pre-manufactured cabinet brand we currently use. These are factory-produced cabinets, distinct from cabinetry custom-built in our shop.
Dakota’s product literature describes plywood cabinet boxes, adjustable shelves, dovetail drawer boxes and soft-close hardware for its documented EZ Click lines. When RTA Can Be Practical
EZ Click may suit a straightforward layout when the available cabinet sizes and finishes match the project. Stocked components can shorten sourcing compared with custom fabrication, but supplier stock and delivery must be confirmed. Assembly speed is only one part of the total project schedule.
Design assistance and installation still involve measurements, appliance fit, fillers, end panels, leveling, fastening and final adjustments. The proposal identifies the cabinet product and any separately approved custom components.
When Custom Cabinetry Fits Better
Custom cabinetry is worth considering when the room needs specific dimensions, unusual storage, a particular material or a finish and door style outside the available product range. It can also suit partial kitchen additions where details must be coordinated with retained cabinetry.
Custom work has its own design, approval, fabrication, installation and finishing process. Compare complete scopes rather than comparing cabinet box prices alone.
Questions to Resolve Before Choosing
Do the available sizes fit the room, appliance openings and storage goals?
Which panels, fillers, trim and accessories are included?
Who measures, orders, assembles, installs and handles any required trade coordination?
What is currently in stock, and when can the full project actually be completed?
How do finish choices, maintenance and the written product warranty apply to the selected line?
Custom, RTA or Refacing?
New RTA cabinetry replaces cabinets with factory-produced components. Refacing retains suitable existing boxes and updates doors, drawer fronts and approved visible components. Custom kitchen work can range from selected additions to a complete kitchen. These are different scopes.
